APPLICATION

SURFACE REQUIREMENTS

If grouting new tile joint, make sure joints are free from and efflorescence, laitance, loose sand, dirt etc. Remove all such materials with suitable means. If re-grouting old, used tile, make sure all joints are free from any kind of contaminations like oil, grease, salts. Clean joints with suitable detergent/cleaner and make sure joints are dry before re-grouting.

Before starting joints filling, check that appropriate tile areused for specific application. All tiles are fixed firmly with sub base with the use of appropriate tile adhesive.Check for expansion & movement joints are filled with suitable flexible jointing materials.Do not use this grout in ambient temp. is below 10o C and joints are in high damp condition.

MIXING

1. Stir well Part – A till you get smooth uniform color.
2. Stir well Part – B also.
3. IN a clean container, pour Part – A and then Part – B.
Mix well to get uniform color.
Use slow speed electricdrill mixer for large quantity.
4. The add slowly Part – C to mix materials of Part – A & B.
5. Mix till you get smooth, creamy mixer in uniform color, free from any lumps or unmixed fillers.

If large quantity is mixed, immediately pour it on floor or divide in to small quantities between applicators.

USE MIXED EPOXY GROUT WITHIN OPEN TIME

Open time depend on mixed quantity, ambient temperature, time taken for mixing, different application area etc

APPLICATION OF GROUT

Pour/apply mix grout on floor or wall and work the grout in to joints using hard rubber grout trowel. Make sure all joints are fully grouted with materials without any air pockets. Move rubber trowel diagonally to avoid any air bubble in joints.

Wait for 20 to 30 minutes (depending on ambient temp.) and clean the excess epoxy grout mortar from tile with the use of damp sponge. Work in round motion and repeat the cleaning action twice with work water.

Make sure you clean all excess grout on tile. Don’t allow water to go stand on epoxy grout in joint
